Peter Hughes - Group Managing Director

Peter has worked in the fund management and fund administration industry for the last 12 years. He established Apex in order to provide a higher level of client service to the fund administration business.

He had previously worked for KPMG and as a group manager for Hemisphere Management (previously BISYS and now Citi) providing fund administration.  Prior to establishing Apex he worked for a fund of funds group as Chief Financial Officer for 3 years and also served on the investment committee for fund selection. He also developed a risk management matrix to be used by analysts and the marketing strategy for the group.

 

John Bohan - Managing Director of Apex Fund Services (Ireland) & Group Manager of Operations

Prior to assuming the role of Managing Director of Apex Fund Services (Ireland), John was operations manager at Apex Fund Services (Bermuda) for 3 years. He was instrumental in helping to develop the Apex Fund Service business model for delivering the highest levels of client service.

John is primarily responsible for the operations of the Group to ensure the business model is followed accurately in all offices.

 

Thalius Hecksher - Global Head of Business Development

Thalius has over 15 years experience of working within the international financial markets and has particular expertise in the fund management and asset management sectors. Prior to joining Apex, Thalius was head of sales for EMEA at Linedata Services where he specialized in financial software and technology for mutual and hedge fund managers through to third party administrators. Thalius successfully launched Linedata in new territories across the EMEA region.
 
Prior to this, Thalius was sales director at Thomson Financial (now Thomson Reuters). Thalius had responsibility for spearheading the significant growth in the institutional equities and wealth management for UK and Ireland. Managing USD$35 million turnover and annual growth of USD$7m.
