Accountant Manager Requirements

The Business

Apex Fund Services Ltd is a growing fund and corporate administration company focused on the provision of tailored client service within the fund industry. Apex Fund Services (Ireland) Ltd provides administration services to offshore and onshore hedge funds from our servicing centers in Bahrain, Bermuda, Cyprus, Dubai, Hong Kong, Ireland, Singapore, Malta and Mauritius.

The Position – Account Manager (Bermuda)

The successful applicants for these positions will be responsible for a number of clients in the areas of NAV calculation, shareholder reporting and compliance.

The Role

• To ensure timely and accurate NAV calculation on a weekly or monthly basis
• Supervision of a team of Fund Accountants and Senior Fund accountants
• Responding to client enquiries in a timely and efficient manner and ensuring a first class service to clients within your group
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and other requirements of the funds specifications
• Detailed review of NAV calculations for Hedge Funds
• Preparation of financial statements as required
• Supervision and training of Fund Accounting staff

The Skills

• 3-4 years experience in a similar role incorporating the above functions
• An ability to work to and meet agreed deadlines
• An accountancy qualification would be an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills
• Strong PC skills including Word, Excel and Access (Experience on Paxus - an advantage)
