Apex Fund Services Ltd in conjunction with Saffery Champness Fund Services Limited Guernsey are now providing fund administration and transfer agency services to Guernsey domiciled Collective Investment Schemes and Investment Managers.

Saffery Champness Fund Services Limited is part of the Saffery Champness Group which has 9 offices in the UK and one in Guernsey. Established in 1855 Saffery Champness has a long tradition of leading the field in the provision of advice to private clients and business owners.

Saffery Champness Registered Fiduciaries in Guernsey is one of the largest independent providers of fiduciary services on the island with assets of more than £11billion under management. These span a wide range of asset classes, ranging from quoted and unquoted investments, through to art and private and commercial property.

Saffery Champness established their Fund Administration arm in 2007 and was delighted to secure the appointment of Ian Powell who is a qualified Chartered Secretary and Fellow of the Securities and Investment Institute. With 30 years experience in the mutual fund industry Ian possesses a breadth of experience spanning a broad range of asset classes, services and types of investment fund.

It is proposed that this joint venture will involve new Guernsey open-ended and closed-end investment funds and Saffery Champness Fund Services Limited will outsource the administration of these funds primarily to Apex Fund Services (Ireland) Limited. Depending on the needs and location of asset managers globally, the services will be available through other offices within the Apex Group.
