It seems that all is not well with Australian cricket. They failed to win the ashes and lost 3 games in a series for the third time ever.

It seems the fund administration industry is Australia is also suffering a similar decline. With only a few local players along with Citco in the market for several years there was a relatively good services provided to Australian asset managers.

Citco has moved to Singapore and there has been consolidation with the other administrators - this is no good for the industry.  Australia is a growing asset management market so if there are Australian asset managers looking for a better administration service it would be a location that other global administrators should consider.
