I have just arrived in Hong Kong from London. This can be a tough trip especially in economy and it is always expensive.

In the winter months it is always best to travel economy. You get more room than with business or first as at this time of year there is usually at least one empty seat beside you if you ask when you check in. Business travel should be about getting from A to B as efficiently as possible so that you are ready for meetings when you arrive. Its not about the food and drinks!

Another tip that works well is to have a short stop at one of the ME hubs. Booking tickets in two legs often works out to be half the cost and it is healthier to spend an hour or two in between two six hour flight rather than do a twelve hour flight.

Now that I have come all this way it is important to maximise the number of meetings and find out what is happening in the Asian funds market and how we can provide the best fund administration service in the region.
