Minister Kelleher Leads Enterprise Ireland Trade Mission to Shanghai

The Minister for Trade and Commerce Mr Billy Kelleher T.D. today Thursday (15th October 2009) launched Cork company Apex Fund Services Ltd's new fund administration operation in Shanghai, China. The announcement was made during this week's Enterprise Ireland trade mission to China.

The launch was particularly significant as Apex is the first privately owned fund administration company (i.e. not backed by a bank or instiution) to launch in China.

Apex Fund Services Ltd., is wholly owned by two Irish individuals with 13 separate offices across Europe, Asia, Middle East and North America. The company offers an integrated range of fund-related services including fund administration services, corporate services and transfer agency services, in addition to valued added services such as advice on fund launches, restructuring and raising capital.

In China, Apex will be offering various financial services (fund accounting, share registry and AML as well as fund set-up assistance) to Chinese domestic and offshore funds, Chinese investment managers and banks.
